More than 150 people attended the fourth annual TVZ Pitch Competition at York University’s Markham Campus on June 13, 2026.

Ten founders from Sri Lanka and Canada pitched to a panel of judges. The day also included a panel discussion, awards, networking and an after-party.

Winners were named in three categories: Sri Lankan non-tech, Sri Lankan tech and Canada tech. The chamber thanked the mentors, judges, organizers and sponsors whose support paid for the cash prizes.
